ZRP Announces The First Installation Of Signs In China, And This Is The 7th Sign In The World

Landa announced that a large Chinese packaging printing company, Zhongrong Printing Group Co., Ltd. (ZRP), has completed installation and launched the first Landa S10 Nanographic Printing® Press in Asia Pacific (12/20/2019). This is the 7th Landa machine installation worldwide after their first beta in July 2017 at Graphica Bezalel (Israel), then the 2nd beta at Edelmann Group (Germany), following then successive Schelling AG (Switzerland), Mercury Print Productions (USA), Virtual Packaging (USA) and Route 1 Print (UK), ZRP will use its Landa machine for digital printing of short and medium-run orders. With the advantages of Landa being the fastest in its class without sacrificing quality, the ZRP customer base is very large and prominent in the Food, Manufacture and Consumer Goods business in China.

Mr. Huang, ZRP’s CEO commented, “This makes us proud to be the first Chinese company to install and operate a Landa S10 engine, and offer the benefits of this technology to our customers. Our main focus on service innovation, we believe that cutting-edge technology from Landa is a key driver for growth and differentiates our business from the others. And initial signs indicate that the Landa engine will provide that guarantee. Our customers now have the ability to order medium-term work for the first time without worrying about wasting too much time waiting.”

“We already have many machines with various processes (digital printing, offset printing, rotogravure, silkscreen, and flexo) but the Landa S10 presents exceptional production capabilities and new customer service that truly complements our other printing formats. In China, the colors used in packaging and product branding are very influential in consumer purchasing decisions. These colors can mean anything from the nutritional value of the product to the authenticity of the product (not imitation). Therefore, we hope that the color palette from bright Nanography inks adds significant value to customers, especially in a retail environment that is so competitive,” Huang added.

Landa S10 Nanographic Printing® Press has a one-sided (41 in./ 1,050 mm) B1 format that allows mainstream efficiency especially with regard to processing time for folding carton production and POP / POS applications. With higher throughput than other digital sheetfed machines at the industrial level, the Landa S10 can print an average of 6,500 sheets for large format sizes (B1) per hour.

Yishai Amir, Landa’s CEO commented: “We have spent the past six months putting all the service and support functions needed to serve customers in China, which also includes the opening of Landa’s office in China. With that, ZRP has become the perfect partner to launch Nanography for the Asia Pacific region. Become a packaging expert and one of the industry’s leading suppliers and become one of the ‘100 Top Printing Companies’ in this bamboo curtain country. ZRP not only understands the opportunities offered by Landa S10, but they also know how to bring Nanography to market and encourage rapid adoption. We hope to support ZRP and prospective customers from developing countries in Asia in the near future.
