Previously it was reported that Printerous, an online printing platform in Indonesia that presents solutions to meet all the needs of printing and packaging, at the beginning of 2020, won series A funding from BAce Capital, AddVentures, GDP Venture, and Gobi Agung. Previous investor, Sovereign’s Capital, also participated in the funding this time.
After earlier in early 2017, Printerous has also obtained an investment of US $ 1.4 million or equivalent to Rp 20 billion. This pre-series funding was led by Golden Gate Ventures from Singapore, followed by Sovereign’s Capital from the United States and the Gunung Sewu Kencana business group from Indonesia.
This new funding will be used to develop technology infrastructure and expand networks to 30 cities in Indonesia, as well as build businesses in a sustainable manner. Printerous is a startup that has succeeded in making a profit, we believe this funding can help business growth through expansion and innovation.
In the following, a touching memoir is quoted from the Instagram account of Christian Soeseno Boenarso (one of the founders of Printerous, who is also the son of Soeseno Boenarso, owner of Subur printing):
“Starting in 2012, in a small house with less than 10 staff, working in the kitchen, bedroom, dining room, and car garage to work and now turning to what the company has achieved is truly God’s blessing … so here’s 3 Printerous muskeeters which are a combination of the man behind of Information technology, namely Kevin Osmond, a man who usually deals with printing, Christian Soeseno Boenarso and ‘high dose’ creativa, David Soong for their crazy ideas and building cultural movements.

Unexpectedly, time sheets were so fast, and looking back, 8 years ago, what we developed with a vision far ahead of that time, started a business approach from a B2C perspective and stretched it to B2B and created a platform for printing business printing solutions marketplace.
Printerous is about providing solutions and ideas, by providing technology that connects offline and online channels as a marketplace platform.
The idea of this company is to create something special, a new cultural movement for the printing industry ‘Your Culture is Your Brand …’
One way to describe Printerous is the character ‘Winnie the Pooh’ … He says it’s more fun to talk to someone who doesn’t use long difficult words but rather short, easy words like: “what about lunch?” … That’s Printerous which is about easy network access and connecting people.” – Christian Soeseno Boenarso (CSB) –
