Komori Has Sold More Than 900 Perfecting Printing Machines

Komori’s perfecting printing press is currently represented by three leading models, each of which has a different mechanism: Lithrone GX40P, Lithrone GX40RP, and Lithrone S40SP. Since 2000 until now, Komori has sent more than 900 double-sided printing machines to the world.



Komori Lithrone GX40P
The Komori Lithrone GX40P Perfector has joined the Komori line of machines for double-sided printing in one line. This latest printing press has a maximum printing speed of 18,000 sheets per hour and prints B1-sized images.

Komori Lithrone GX40RP
Even it prints double-sided, the Lithrone GX4ORP also has a maximum printing speed of 18,000 sheets per hour and prints B1 size images, this printing machine does not have a perfector type reversal mechanism. Sheetfed offset presses the carrier paper by gripping the sheet with grippers. However, the sheet reversal mechanism of the perfector-type presses changes the handle from the front end to the tail end when turning the sheet, and therefore the handle margins are required at both edges of the sheet.

Komori Lithrone S40SP
The cylindrical arrangement of the Lithrone S40SP, released in 2005, is a unique structure that prints the front and back sides alternately and does not use a transfer cylinder. The advantage of this structure is that it allows mounting of two-sided four-color machines in almost the same space as 40-inch four-color single-sided machines.
