The Legendary Printing in the Netherlands, Acket Drukkerij Kartonnage

This packaging printing company is old, located in Gasstraat Oost 13, 5349 AH Oss, Netherland. Acket was founded by Jan A. Acket in 1884. At that time, Jan Acket started its printing company with the primary goal of publishing the newspaper “De Stad Oss”. Years later he switched to producing commercial prints and printing packs for margarine packaging. Stimulated by regional industrial growth, especially in those years, Unilever stood as a world-scale consumer goods company. Acket became a specialist in cardboard packaging where Unilever was its customer at the time.

In 2004 Acket drukkerij-kartonnage succeeded in acquiring the Cartonnage fabriek D.Miedema b.v. from Nieuwegein. Miedema is also an important and respected player in the Dutch market. Then, in 2008, Acket also acquired and integrated Van Gorp Vouwkartonnages BV.

Acket Drukkerij-Kartonnage, now led by Tom Acket, continues to develop into one of the most modern folding carton printing companies in the Benelux area.
